Hello awesome classmates and Dr. C here is my main discussion post for Week 10…

I would choose Leonardo da Vinci painting that is worth 14.5 million dollars. I love the details that were hidden in the painting. The sharp angles of the wall and if you look though the window you could also see the hills and sky. Unlike Tintoretto and Veronese painting, you should see the people different face expression.

The two key differences between the Mannerist and Renaissance artistic style. The Renaissance artistic style was harmony and beauty. In contrast, the Mannerist artistic style was irrational settings, artificial colors and an unclear subject matter.

Artistic Freedom- The freedom to imagine, create, and diverse cultural expressions free of governmental censorship.

Right of the Patron- Set of rights and obligations of someone, connection with a gift of land

Appropriate subject Matter- Is what something is about. To focus on the art piece.
