Recognizing that there is a long list of questionable “foods” and ingredients in the American diet, as well as a vast array of questionable food preparation methods used, it would seem that people should have an easier time deciding on what, exactly, they ought to eat for good health, and what to avoid. Is this logic sound or has the strong emphasis on “eating healthy” obfuscated the American public? Explain your position thoroughly, using real-world examples.
